Mr. Robert K. Lewis, Esq. is a founding member of LEWIS and LEWIS. Throughout his many years of practice as an attorney in Arizona, Mr. Lewis has litigated countless diverse cases and has tried matters of varying complexity before Arizona juries. Furthermore, his experience as a senior claims representative with State Farm Automobile Insurance Company before law school helps Mr. Lewis bring a unique perspective and hands-on understanding to his representation of personal injury clients. The National Trial Lawyers recently identified Mr. Lewis as one of the Top 100 Civil Plaintiff Trial Lawyers, as well as the Top 10 Bad Faith Insurance Lawyers.
Practice areas: Through his work as an attorney in Arizona, Mr. Lewis has represented clients in matters dealing with nearly every facet of general civil litigation cases in both state and federal court. There are very few legal issues Mr. Lewis is not familiar with and has not yet litigated. Mr. Lewis also has extensive trial experience, averaging a jury trial up to 12 times a year. Mr. Lewis is admitted to practice law in all Arizona and Nevada state courts as well as the United States District Court for the District of Arizona.
Presentations: Mr. Lewis has spoken on insurance coverage and bad faith topics for the Maricopa County Bar Association, as well as at continuing legal education seminars, and at private seminars for the firm’s clients. He is often called to speak about trial strategy, ethics, and other litigation topics for a wide variety of industry associations.
Expert witness services: Attorney Robert K. Lewis was a claims representative for a national insurance company prior to attending law school. Mr. Lewis represents plaintiffs in first party and third party bad faith cases, and has extensive trial experience in this area of law. He has also lectured on claims handling practices and bad faith for insurance companies and at continuing legal education courses. In addition to his plaintiff’s personal injury practice, Mr. Lewis acts as an expert witness and consultant on claims handling practices.
Mr. Lewis was born in Grand Junction, CO, and grew up in Valdez, AK. He has lived in Arizona since 1984 and has two children.

Ms. Amy M. Lewis, Esq. is a founding member of LEWIS and LEWIS. Ms. Lewis received her law degree and MBA from the University of St. Thomas in her hometown of Minneapolis, MN.
The National Trial Lawyers recently identified Ms. Lewis as one of the Top 40 Under 40 Civil Plaintiff Trial Lawyers, as well as a Top 100 Civil Plaintiff Trial Lawyer. She has successfully handled hundreds of litigated cases and is no stranger to the courtroom, including her firm’s 9th Circuit Court of Appeals victory in 2019. Ms. Lewis has extensive litigation, arbitration and trial experience, has served part time on the bench as a Pro Tem Judge in Maricopa County Justice Courts, and has taught civil litigation skills to law students as a visiting law professor. Before opening her own law firm, she was an associate attorney at the largest insurance defense firm in Arizona, before “jumping the fence” into solely plaintiff’s work.
Her achievements in law have afforded her unique opportunities in the legal industry. Ms. Lewis provides professional legal commentary to news channels on hot legal topics, current events, as well as LEWIS and LEWIS' own high profile cases. Her clients’ cases have been featured on CBS 5 News and even Dateline NBC with Reporter Chris Hansen. Amy also recently had the honor to work in Los Angeles with attorney Chris Darden, famed prosecutor in the O.J. Simpson “trial of the century.”
Prior to attending law school, Ms. Lewis was the victim of a sports utility vehicle roll-over accident, as a result of someone else's negligence, in which she was introduced to the legal system as a plaintiff. After this event, she was determined to attend law school and represent injury victims to bring closure to others as her attorney had brought to her.
Ms. Lewis is licensed in Arizona and Minnesota, but serves clients and handles cases nationwide with the firm’s network of associations.
